Hi Guys,

I've got a bit of a strange issue with one of my users Curve 8310 devices.

She has had the device for a while now and within 2 weeks of getting it, she could not use the camera on it - each time it started, the error message "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again" is displayed.

I have upgraded the firmware to 4.5 (from 4.2) and prior to activation, the camera started without problems.

The activation process completed, but I then get the issues with the camera again.

There is a 1Gb MicroSD card in the unit, and 22.86 MB System RAM free - surely the camera does not need that much memory to run

Any ideas would be appreciated.

If it worked before activation, it sounds like there is an IT Policy on the BES that is blocking it.

I don't have control over the BES (its a hosted Exchange 2003 mail system) but i'll pose the question them anyway
