Default Unable To Install Theme

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded a theme that was hosted on a file sharing site ( it was in a .zip file). When I unzipped it, I tried to install it on my phone using the DM. The only problem is that nothing shows up in the unzipped folder that is compatible. But when I open it up on the pc alone, it is full of .cod files, and one .jad file ( all total, there are 29 files with the 2nd one being the .jad file).
So, how do I install the theme on my phone if it is possible. There is no OTA link to do that with either.

Yes.
Each one of the files are labeled with 8900, and the name of the folder has 8900 in it.

Apparently the theme is meant to be installed OTA. You have two options.

Put those files on a web server you can browse to with your BB and install it OTA.

or

You could make a folder on your media card and drop all the files into that folder. Then use the filemanager app on the BB, find the .jad file for the theme and click on it. It should install.

Thanks. Putting them on a file in the phone worked. Now my next question is do I have to keep that whole file, or can I delete the .cod files, just keeping the .jad one?

You don't have to keep any of them. The installation process put everything it needed in other places on your device.

Thanks. This theme really made the effort worth it. It is a free one, but it looks premium in every aspect.
Again, thanks.

You're welcome.

You should also thank the theme author for sharing it for free.
