Question Deleting Multiple Emails at the Same Time

Please Login to Remove!

I can't believe I haven't figured out how to do this yet!

How do I select multiple emails at the same time in order to delete them all? Doing it one at a time is a major PITA.

Thanks!

Go to the date and hit the wheel, then select "delete Prior". This will delete every email prior to that date. Or go to any email, hold the "num" button and roll wheel down through whichever emails you want to delete, then hit the delete button.

Well, that's a new trick for me, but what if you only want to delete say 2 that are in the middle and don't want to delete all of the prior ones.......Or say delete #2, 4 and 5, but leave the rest?

I edited for deleting a few in the middle. Go to any email, hold the "num" button and roll wheel down through whichever emails you want to delete, then hit the delete button. Not sure you can delete multiple emails that are not sequential. Hope that helps a little.

rut roh. Was experimenting with Gmail forwarding and dumped 335 messages into my BB!

Thanks for that trick. I'm trying it right now

Read my tips doc to start, but hold down the NUM key and scroll to select multiple messages in a row from the message list, and then hit the delete key.
