Here goes, I followed the instructions as usual. I have a Javelin with 507 error. When i try to load 5.0 It gets stuck at Loading Module "net_rim_platformapps_resourse_en_us.cod". When I try to load any 4.6 it freezez as the same point. Did everything as suggested by every forum. Wiped using JL and BBSAK, tried what I think is every possible solution. can anyone offer assistance.

Please do not double post. There was no need to start a new thread. The error code means there is no OS on the device and you need to reload it, which is what you have been trying to do.

Your profile states that you have the 8220, but your post says the Javelin, a.k.a. 8900. Which do you have? And please update your profile to indicate the correct device.

AFAIK, there is no OS 5.0 for your device, the 8220. The OS is device specific, so 4.6 is the latest. If that doesn't reload, then you are about out of luck. I assume that you deleted the vendor.xml file and are plugged directly into the PC, not via a HUB?

As John said and I agree, I think the device is bad and you need to replace it. There have been more problems than usual with the 8200 series, hence several carriers have dropped them.

I understand where you are coming from and as I specifically stated it was the 8900, I never said it was my phone. Thanks anyway.
