I don't know about officially but there are some pretty good 5.x/6.x hybrids out for the 9000.

The 9000 is already struggling with OS5. Trying to use OS6 on it (hybrid or not) would test your patience and the handset's rather limited spec. Better avoid it.

guyinblack: The one I'm using is WillBoy's which you can find at driphter.com.

the-economist: It might depend on how many apps you use, I know on mine the hybrid is faster than any of the stock 4.6.x's or 5's.

Any OS other than 4.6 sucks on the 9000 due to its limited 12 MB of RAM.

I had it, tried it for a month, I was constantly getting that loading clock screen! sold it and got a 9700, then a Torch, then a 9780

It has 128MB of on-board memory, not 12.
