Has anyone used a BB w/ Sprint or Verizon in Hawaii for voice and data? If so are there any limitations or on versions and so on?

Thank You. I was told I couldn't use Verizon or Sprint for voice and Data (e-mail really) and thought that was absurd.

Well, you might have some coverage issues because of the terrain. I just checked Sprint's web site, and it wasn't perfect coverage in the hinterlands but all of the major cities were fine.

I would be traveling from PA. Would a roaming agreement have to be in place or anything special my Sprint BB would need, it's World Edition.

Thank you all very much for the response.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

Hawaii is part of the US and *should* be considered your local calling area if you have a national plan. Both Sprint and VZW have cdma coverage and you won't roam to GSM

Was on Maui working in June and my Sprint 8830 did just fine with data and voice. No problems at all.
