I found for me, I had turned on file Sharing through the control panel. Turn it off and what do you know, things showed up (I didnt even see folders before)

The reason it broke for me is File Sharing enabled you to share your files from your PB onto your network.

You don't want someone going through, finding your PB share, then getting into your BB files, so it makes sense that portion of the bridge is 'disabled'

I am seeing two negative behaviors I did not have with .1710.

When the PlayBook has locked and after I unlock it, the bridge apps I had open (i.e. email, BBM, browser) are all white screen. I close them and reopen, and all is well.

The bridge calendar sometimes crashes to home screen after opening. I see the screen with the BlackBerry logo on a black background for a while, and then the app closes. I restart the PlayBook and it is fine for a while. The calendar is the only app doing this.

I did the OS upgrade as well as the updated Bridge and the installs were painless. The ne Bridge does allow me to see file folders on the BB, but nothing except .pps files would open.

Not sure why the.pps files would open, but it is a start.

I do not have file sharing turned on.

Oh, and BBM worked great....

got the upgrade last night, I can see bridge files okay, but the bridge browser is tortuously slow.
