I personally think it would be kind of annoying pushing the ptt button on the side of my head all the time.

There are speaker kits for your autos with a wired ptt button. We have them for all of our drivers, but it for the older 700 series phones. Know this doesnt answer the thread question, but thought I would throw it in anyways.
