Hey everybody,

I'm pretty new in the blackberry world and therefore have some questions regarding the 8320:

Is there any other way to lock the phone? I think it's annoying to go to main menu and search for the key symbol to just lock the keyboard. Is there a shortcut or any other option?

I use the blackberry enterprise server (small business server, without any hardware). Somehow I cannot delete any appointments in my calendar on the mail server. Meaning if I delete an appointment it disappears on my handheld, but still exists on the mail server. I couldn't find any settings to change that.

Is there an application the shows the data traffic of the handheld?

I hope my questions aren't too ridiculous and somebody will answer.

I can only answer 1 and 3. So here goes: the shortcut to lock the keyboard is letter K--just make sure you set No on dial from homescreen.



As for data traffic, if you meant size etc--there's MiniMoni in the AfterMarket section.

make sure you are set on both the BES and the handheld for wireless reconcile for your calendar data. on the device go into the calendar > menu > options > wireless reconcile on

The calander is still causing trouble.
My wireless reconcile is on but somehow the hzandheld doesn't send information to the mailserver.

Anyway, I am glad that everything else works fine )

you can also set one of your convenience keys on the side to lock the keyboard.
