The 8310 is not red, it is crimson, as in Crimson Tide.

Has anyone scratched or sanded the battery door on their titanium 8320? The inside of it is black, and it looks like it is black all the way to the paint, so I would be very surprised if it is not black under the titanium color.

is it black.
this guy did this to a silver AT&T BB Curve 8300 shell and then housed his T-Mobile 8320 berry with it.

Yep, if it had been a Treo 680 Crimson, instead of the classy Crimson I would have bought the titanium model. I had a Crimson Treo, and I have to admit...it looked gay.

And...I was thinking the 8310 Crimson was more Texas Tech Red Raider crimson, instead of Crimson Tide crimson...don't you JS?

Then I used 1200 grit to smoothe it all out. What I got was a really nice flat black that matches the rubber sides. No paint needed at all. Check out the pic...sorry it's not crispy clear, I used my brother's Pearl to take the pic.
8320 with the black faceplate and silver bottom piece.

It is not black underneath the Titanium 8310 door. It is a nasty off white color. I dont know if the titanium 8320 is similar, I imagine so. It would be silly to make seperate doors for the two models when they could manufacture one part for both.

I would think so too, but it appears that way. juice901 mentioned the pale grey color of the 8300/8310 battery door, but the 8320 is definitely black.

Lol it always cracks me up when people call phones gay. I hear it all the time, and always gives me a hilarious mental picture!

(on a more serious note, I have a titanium 8320, but I really love the "crimson" color of the 8310. I don't have any experience taking apart phones though, so I am too scared to change the housing. Plus, putting on my "best skin ever" skin took to much time and effort to waste it. )

Do you think if you sandpapered the bottom part with the Tmobile on it, it would be black as well? Just curious cause I'd like to have an all black Curve. Would look awesome

The second I got the Titanium Curve I wasn't gay anymore. It must be the non-gay color.

This company does it, buy extra cases and send them to:
ColorWare - iPhoneâ„¢

This is my plan and see if they can even add logos.

Probably. On the Rogers 8310 that part was black underneath.
