HI there,

I have reloaded my 8310 6 times and keep getting the Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException error, straight after my phone has booted up for the first time since reload and I choose a new password. I get similair errors including timeout exceptions when activating the device on our BES server, so I get errors no matter what. The other Domain Admins and I can't figure it out. I have even nuked and wiped the device straight from the BES server.

Sorry but I have searched everywhere with no luck in getting this device to do what it is supposed to do. I am currently on v4.5.0.55 and have even tried v4.2 with the same results. I run loader.exe /nojvm with the phone plugged in and no battery in the device. I get an error asking me to reconnect the device once the app want to install the OS/apps, so I put the battery back in and plug the phone in and everything continues to run through successfully. After about 15 minutes the device is up and running and giving me errors once more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks but I have done all that before. I also get Error 523 Reset here and there and if I try open a mail the phone just hangs. Calendar seems fine tho. Think the phone needs to either go in the bin or back to the service providor. I'm so frustrated I haven't decided which one yet.
