Everytime I try to connect to the media sync it always tells me this:

"Your device is not recognised by Blackberry Media Sync. Please check that:
1. a media card is installed correctly in your Blackberry device
2. Mass storage mode is turned on."

Yes it is installed correctly and yes mass storage mode is on. I've tried formatting, re-installing the programs, taking out the card and now I'm losing hope.

I've just lost everything from formatting it and it didn't even help. I'm gutted :/

I may be out in left field (I've only used media sync once, just playing around with it), but if you have a password set on your blackberry, was the blackberry still locked when you were trying to use media sync and having problems. If so, then recognize that you have to enter the password on the blackberry and unlock it; not just enter your device password in desktop manager.

If that is not the issue, have you tried a hard reset? With the blackberry powered on, remove the battery for about 30 seconds and try again.
