Default 8330 Memory

Please Login to Remove!

I updated my Verizon 8330 to OS 5.0. I seem to be running out of memory on my device. I deleted things I don't use. I noticed when I upgraded I now have Slacker Radio and Bing. I can't find a way to delete them as I don't use them. They are not under my applications. Any suggestions as how to delete them and also get more memory?

Thanks

If they aren't under applications, they aren't installed (therefore not taking up memory) and they are icons TO download them.
Pushed via service books to your device.
Hide them.

Look at the sticky post by John Clark on freeing up memory. You can gain a few MB just removing the extra themes. If there are things you don't need, like voice dialing, you can free up even more.

As MD says, those icons are just download links. They are service books. It's no use deleting, because they will get pushed again. Thus, just hide.

An upgraded 8330 to OS 5.0 will have less memory available than using OS 4.5. It will work but you will be limited to having fewer 'extras' on your device.
