Will Someone Send Me The Link To Download Ramble Over The Air Please

Ramble use to vibrate when sending the IOM at first, now all that happens is a popup asking if I want to accept the IM. No vibration. Went to options but don't see one to set for that. Vibrate works when recieving each line in the IM, except for the first one.

dkf747, same issue. i also get no sounds if Tone is enabled. i just started playing around between accounts and noticed a lot of messages are not being delivered, as well.

nonone on my buddy list showed up so I have deleted the program already ill wait till he gets the full program up and running

Can anyone consistently replicate their problem with their buddy list? I don't doubt there is a problem, I just haven't seen it so far. Perhaps there is something not contained in my buddy list that causes a problem.

Were you able to login with a previous version? If so, is the new version configured the same?

ok maybe this might help you rambler to know what my problem is. When i go to options it says rambler im and it does not have any modules

Have the ramble emails been stopped? I've filled out the form twice but have yet to receive an email yet even though it says its been sent

email accidentally got placed in the "spam" folder with gmail. check there.

rambler... here is my problem. my buddy list always pulls up the same people... for example its leaving aobut 20-25 people offline when they are actually online...so in other words i cant talk to half of my buddies. i have rebooted and done the standard trouble shooting. any help would be greatly appreciated.

oh i have a reccomendation for your little project. add a notifier for inital message so it doesnt buzz everytime you get a msg if your already talking to someone. anyway thats an idea. thanks for all you do rambler.

My buddies are also not showing up. It seems to be mostly the ones that have Aliases from Trillian or GAIM.

This was not an issue with the previous version of Ramble if that helps..

I have the new rambler version downloaded, only one copy (not multiples on the device), APN of wap.cingular, (all caps, right?) and CINGULAR1 for APN password, again all caps, right?

For the Rambler settings in options, I have device default, and toc.oscar.aol.com:5190

I am not on a BES. just plain unlimited data plan. This is the error I am getting:

"invalid connection string: could not open tunnel - failed"

Any ideas for things I could try? I tried ports :8080, and :1290 but nothing is getting me past this one...thanks!

Try setting Network Connection to 'Use Device TCP'

I just tried the "use device TCP" but got the same error message. I appreciate all you are contributing to the community and know your hands are full with the new coding you are working on, but if some other ideas come up be sure to let me know and I will try them!! Thanks again
