2 Bricked devices (JVM 517) in a month. JVM 517 while merely browsing. Everyting else working ok. Cant even bring up with Loader or even reset to factory. I do load pretty much everything from application store which is free as i am the admin for about 120 devices (down from 150 - now 30 IPhone/Android, etc). I keep a smiling face for my users but this is worrisome as my users on the road would not tolerate 2 bricked devices in a month.

You load every free app in App World? I'd suspect that the apps are the problem.

Have to agree with Daphne. Why would you load all the free apps from aw on every device? Quantity over quality?

Agreed as well. There is no need to load needless apps on your device. Just because it's free doesn't mean you will use it or it should be on your device. I would say that's what's causing the JVM errors.

i agree but i like to sample them and distribute to the users who will not take the initiative otherwise. At this time i will limit going forward..the financial ones(like Blue and Bloomberg) are very nice..The Reuters ones are very useful- Blackberry News, Travel, and Traffic are well received. Will elimininate the Bible, Koran, Quote of Day, etc.

Useful to you and useful to some of your users may have 2 different meanings.

I would suspect that once you delete a lot of those apps, these issues will no longer exist.

I couldn't agree more - there's such crap out there - and remember, when it's NOT certified by RIM with so many shitty developers writing such crap, I wouldn't expect that BlackBerry devices wouldn't be suffering these repeated errors. Same thing happens on any PC/server with so many garbage apps being written by so many so-called developers.
