Default ADD to Existing Contact

I'm relatively new to BB's only three months into my first one. I'm mostly happy with my device; however, it seems RIM overlooked the little things I'd think would make a great device superior. It drives me crazy that I can't capture a phone number from the call log or an email address from a received email and add it to an existing contact (I have to cut and paste unless I'm doing something wrong) I also can't understand why there is no dedicated Shift Lock key allowing for the entry of multiple numbers. Also it seems there should have been a default "today screen" allowing an at a glance look at current and future appointments. I get the privacy thing and some not wanting their appointments displayed on the home screen, but I'd love to have that option. Not trying to look for flaws as there is no such thing as the perfect device, but I'm sure these simple things would benefit most BB users. I know there are third party apps to cover what I'm writing but I don't think we should have to pay for something that should come standard.

There is. Press the ALT and left shift key down together.

Look for a new theme, there are so many to choose from, see our Media Center section of this forum.
