Hi, I just purchased an official Blackberry charging pod for the Pearl. I have a Pearl 8110 just in case this matters. On the Blackberry website, it says when I connect my USB cable to the back of it, and connect it to my computer,then put my BB in the charging pod, it will sync with Desktop Manager etc. But when I connect it to my computer, all it does is charge the Blackberry. My computer doesn't even recognize that anything has been plugged into its USB slot. But I have no trouble when i directly connect the USB cable from my Blackberry to the computer. Do you guys know what is wrong? Also, can I always leave the charging pod connected to my computer through the USB cable 24/7 even when I am not charging my Blackberry? Or will this hurt it? Also, say I am charging the phone and because I get texts a lot, I may need to pick it up out of the charging pod, reply, put it back in the pod, get text, pick it up, reply, put it back in the pod etc. You get the picture. Will this affect the phone or the battery by constantly doing this? If I get messages while it is in the charging pod, should I just ignore them until the phone is fully charged so I don't hurt my battery etc and disrupt the charging process? Thanks,
