I have the initial Verizon release for the 9930 and the version of BBM is 6.0.0.105. This app gets stuck all the time. I either cannot start a chat or delete one from my message folder until I do a full reset (ALT-SHIFT-DEL). Once the phone reboots, then it starts to function again but this happens a lot. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I believe there's an update for it now but I haven't check the release notes (if any) as of yet.

A friend of mine was having this problem on his Verizon 9630. It turned out to be a corrupt messages database of all things.

He corrected it by clearing the database through Desktop Manager.

Hmm...good to know although this is a new phone and I never really used BBM all that much yet so I wonder how it could have gotten corrupted that fast. As a precaution, I upgraded to the newer BBM today (.129), but if this happens again I will try using DM to clear.
