Hi all. I'm new to the forums and i'm sorry if this thread is in the wrong place but i couldn't find another one. =\

I have the 9700 and have been having problems with my BBM with not getting messages for a few hours and people not receiving my messages for hours.
So i thought if i upgraded things may work better and i did last night and everything was working fine.

This morning though, my blackberry messenger would not deliver\receive messages.
Occasionally it a person would actually receive my message but it does not show with the little D or R in on the left.

I was also just told that a person did receive my bbm, and they sent a reply, which i have not gotten either.

I did a battery pull and it still does not work.

Any advice?

Does it work via wifi? There are some other people reporting internet/BBM issues here:

I saw that post and connected to my offices wifi and instantly i got all my BBM's and emails!

A good fix as long as i am able to use wifi.
I wonder whats causing the problems..

Glad you're up and running albiet with a work around.

Since it appears your issue is related to the others, I'm going to close this thread and we'll keep all the chatter in that other thread.
