i have no problems with my blackberry, all my texts send right away and i recieve them quickly, except for when i text this one person, the moment i hit send my phone freezes right up and it take literally 3 minutes to send and unfreeze. then when i recieve a text from that person it take a minute to open it. again when texting anyone else it works fine. has anyone ever had this problem before? if you know why it does this please help me, it drives me crazy. thanks

Reply to that contact, but before sending the text, press the Menu Key and select Remove History. Let me know if that helps.

I find that hard to believe. That normally clears things up.

Try this:
Make a backup first as this will delete your SMS messages.
Go to Messages > Menu Key > Search
Name = Problem contact's name
set Show to Sent and Received
Set Type to SMS
Press the Menu Key and select Search
When the search is complete scroll to the very top of the list and highlight the date.
Press the Menu key and select Delete Prior.

Now text the contact and see if it lags.

Remember and pull the battery after doing this to clear the memory. You may notice a performance increase also.
