Please Login to Remove!

just found this out, some people may find useful

HEALTH WARNING - PLAYING WITH SETTINGS IN ENGINEERING MODE MAY DESTROY YOUR BLACKBERRY - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

first you need to select ALT, then type in the letters ESCR

however the 9105 does not have an alt key and has a numeric keypad

so to select ALT, press the folowing keys:
volume up
volume down
volume up
volume down
volume up

you should now see an ALT flag in the top left

then single press the numeric key on the key pad which containts the following four letters in sequence:
ESCR

enjoy! (or destroy! - whatever )

All that appears is a screen that shows your vendor ID, PIN, IMEI, signal level etc. No options to change anything...

Ahh, okay, figured it out. You need the unlock code to access the menu. I found a source to generate a code to enter here; Zibri's Blog: Hidden things are usually the best

Not been able to find a source as yet that explains what everything is in these menus and what they're for. Any information is most welcome!

This is to enter the 'Help Me!' screen. To enter the actual engineering screen you will need to find an engineering codegen on the internet and then enter code to unlock it.

Hi, can you tell me which screen you do this on?
As soon as I start to press the ESCR keys (after enabling Alt mode) it goes into universal search on the home screen.
