Exclamation unable to connect to wifi after update

Please Login to Remove!

Failed to connect to new wifi network after updating to BlackBerry 10.3.3.1435. Error : unable to authenticate against network. Verify saved network.

delete is from device, reboot phone and router and add it back in

I have done the same... restarted both wifi router and phone. I am unable to use even friends mobile Hotspot. Wifi connection does not stay for a long time. I am facing issue with this device only.

Just to be clear, did you delete the saved profile from the device and add it again after restarting the device?

I have deleted the saved profile, restarted the device and tried to add it again after restarting the devices (both wifi and my mobile device) . Even I tried to add other wifi profile but failed(after several reboots).

I really hate saying this, but I think your next step is a clean OS reload. See what others think.

If you reload the OS, test before you restore. If all is well, then restore. If problem returns when you restore, you may then want to reset to factory defaults. Make preparations for that possibility in the way of selective restore, saving or backing up databases by other means than just with Link, and so forth.

Can you detail exactly how your adding a wifi connection. Don't use your actual numbers for your home network just the detailed steps your doing.

I am trying add a new wifi network to my phone. Old wifi profiles are working fine. The only problem is with the new wifi profiles I want to add to my phone. If there is no password set for the wifi it works, problem is with the wifi networks which has password(cross checked the passwords).

Ok one possibility is the number of WIFI profiles you have. There is a limit on most phones. some base it on memory limits to avoid using too much for limited use data like profiles. Some have said as low as 10 others have said 64.
Seems like the passwords are stored and that may be the issue.
You can try an experiment and try deleting them all and add new ones one at a time to see if the limit is involved.
If your only are talking about a few then something else must be going on.

How many do you have on the phone?

40 wifi profiles roughly. I tried deleting the wifi profiles I no longer use and restarted my device still facing the same issue.

I missed something, or it isn't stated.

So, you upgraded the OS and can't connect to new networks. But you can connect to old networks.

If you delete an "old" profile and add it again, does the device connect?

I don't know if there is a limit to the number of wifi profiles or not. I add profiles all the time as I travel, and I have never hit a limitation. But is the problem a case of not being able to add another profile and connect, or a case of adding a profile that is brand new and not used before?

After upgrading os accidentally I have deleted the old profile, while trying to add it back I got to know there was an issue, so I tried to add new wifi profiles with password (I was able to add wifi profiles without password)

OK. So, any profile you try to add that requires a password is a problem. Doesn't matter if it is a new to the device network, or a network you have used before. The consistent factor is whether there is a password. That sum it up?

I'm going on the belief that if you connected to a network with a password before, then you know what to do and this isn't a case of user error. Also, I trust you cycled the power on the router, as suggested and acknowledged earlier. On that basis I'm still thinking clean OS reload is in order.

The profile limits were posts I found indicating various limits depending on OS and model. We have some in this forum and others in crackberry. the only thing I can think of is some type of memory limit. I searched Blackberry.com and found nothing.
