My boss is taking her PB to Europe, as long as there is international roaming & Data on her phone I'm assuming there should be no issue with mail. As far as the Wi-Fi connections, is there any difference between US and European Wi-Fi that I should be aware of? I'm assuming it's all the same.

I'm no expert, but I believe it is all the same. When I was in England last year with my Bold 9700 I used internet at wi-fi hotspots with no problems, and it was no different than in north america.

Wi-Fi networks use a world wide standard, even with cell phones (GSM, CDMA and other systems)

Should be no worries.
