Default 2 Devices & 4 OS Loads later...

There is no way that the 9530 is ready for launch.

I've gotten over most of the 'quirks' of the new OS, and I'll be the first to admit that I have a complaint about every new device & OS release, but this is absurd.

The phone keeps freezing, input is slow and inaccurate and the accelerometer barely works.

I'm officially disappointed.

On the bright side, the screen is awesome and the overall build quality is legit.

I'm not sure if I should blame RIM for releasing the buggy OS or VZW for not going thru their typically rigorous testing that weeds out these basic functionality flaws.

All in time for the XMAS rush. It is unofficially in BETA. I have the Storm and notice a lot of issues with it. However I still have 28 days to return it ;)

- I would LOVE to see a patch list of what is being addressed in the next OS revision...

Is anyone else pulling their storm out of their pocket to see that it is doing a restart? Just as if you pulled the battery out...

Haven't seen a spontaneous reboot yet, but I have been seeing OS boots after a hard reset take >5 minutes! Very annoying.

Yeah, I am in this boat, it takes a while, and then some for it to reboot. At least you can look at the bottom and see the little bar that loads up to somewhat give you an idea of how much longer it is...

I don't have any of the problems I hear people talk about here. I would really check what add on apps you may have and what they may be doing to it. (It does boot slow but then the os is much larger than the others I would think. I also have the battery drain issue but VZ told me yesterday there will be a patch for that in a couple of days). Hard to believe there is so many bad phones out there.
