Default Is the Storm browser that much better than Curve?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Quick background: I used to have a Pearl; loved it. Had to switch to a CDMA phone for work so I got the Dare (blah). Can live with the Dare but miss the Blackberry features.

Anyway, I'm getting involved in blogs and creating/updating websites and I need a phone with a good browser that can let me work on the net real fast. I know the Storm has the best browser (at least thats what I heard) but I never wanted to the Storm because it lacks a trackball for accuracy, and right now I need accuracy more than anything, which is why I'm leaning towards a Curve. Maybe even the Pearl but I need a big screen for browsing.

So I need a Blackberry with a good browser, and accurate clicks. Is the browser on the Storm that much better than the Curve? Or is the speed negible and I'm better off with the Curve since I'll get accuracy with the trackball?

I want to know the same thing?

I just sent my Storm back in exchange for a Curve.

I can honestly say I have noticed no difference.

By the way, welcome to the club!

Try out Opera Mini... point the built-in browser to mini.opera.com .

I prefer it to the built-in browser for most tasks.

I have 2 friends who ordered the storm when it first came out but they said they were running into a lot of browser issues, even after the updates came out.

I'd say try them out first hand. One person's "excellent" may be another's "acceptable" or "barely usable". If it's a key feature for you then definitely try it out in person before deciding.
