Talking Putting the 7520 to work

Please Login to Remove!

Ok pulled the 7520 off the charger its morning @ 6am, It’s 14 hours later and by BBToday I am @ 28% on the battery.

Weather on BBToday updating every 2 hours
Two stock plugins 11 different symbols total updating every 2 minutes
87 e-mails received through the redirector of which I responded to 49
29 e-mails from my web client of which I responded to 16
BBLight runs while the BB is not holstered
Cell phone for 41 minutes, 25 of them through my Bluetooth BT800
**Bluetooth was off while not in use**
DC for 12 minutes
Reqwireless html surfing for maybe 5-10 minutes checking the MLB scores
Used Berry411 6 times
Adjusted Calendar appointments at least 10 times
Updated GPS location once
Turned wireless off/on 3 times

I say this is pretty good work out for the battery, it performed well. By no means is this a two day battery for any level of BB user. I am going to look into getting the hi cap battery, does anyone know if there is a combo out yet that has the hi cap battery and the correct color for the hi cap battery door?

Anyone have a line on getting a ticker or adding a plugin to BBToday with Pro Scores?

Not fast internet, but doable internet.

But I heard May 1st, is going to bring some new data plans out. So this speed may go up. We can all hope.

By the way, where is my HTML Browser??
Yes, WiDEN is coming soon..... however i've learned to reserve confidence in nextel's release dates, as it originally was January 1st. Motorola is already selling WiDEN pcmcia cards however....which i find fairly amusing.

Be carefull everyone. Nextel does have a way of telling what phone you are using regardless of the sim that is in it. I wouldn't go hog wild with it until you get your bill, to make sure you get no surprises! I'm confident that this workaround will be fine with no surprises.
I agree I am a little nervous about it too they seem to sneak charges in on you. I pay 107. a month as well but that dont mean they wouldnt love to charge me for it

Default My Post.....

I don't know what this has to do with the post that I created first for this. There is another posting with this info on it.

However, since you have brought up BBToaday, I have just got done loading it and the other BB Today programs on it and have an issue with BBWeather.

I set up my home ZIP code and then it save. It gives me the following error.

Error:Could not find a service book entry for IPPP

So my question is, Where do I find the Service Book for IPPP???

Thank you.

By the way, BBToday works just fine and connected.

Sorry, but I'm having a hard time getting very excited about this. You're still not using the 7520 as a modem, only its SIM card. Yor're still using a different phone. Would be nice if someone could figure out what the limitation is in the 7520 that is blocking/disabling this function.

Red face

sorry got off the topic, I will post in other thread. When I got that "IPPP" message, I had to do a hard reset on my BB. Can't remember when I got it or what for. Do you have your MDS Proxy Disabled? I don't.

No, Falcon series phones have 3 digits, like the i730, i860, etc.

The MDS Proxy was not disabled. I had to do that. And it works perfectly now.

I'm using an i710 with USB cable NNTN5970A. I found that I needed the drivers from here, http://idenphones.motorola.com/iden/...stallation.jsp, Those that come in the dashboard app generated errors in device manager.

Thx, HRr
