Same with T-Mobile. I can make a payment at any store in Houston and the next month my bill is jacked cause they lost the payment.

Hartford, Connecticut

BB 8700G on T-Mobile Network

Service is 4/5 stars (very few dead zones)

edge speed isnt as fast as it was on cingular, perhaps they are still working on this?

I have been a loyal customer for almost 5-6 years now -- even when they were voicestream wireless

Service is usually great a few service is busy errors with phone calls and internet but all in all good. Still gets the best service through all the 8 phones that I've had in the last 6 years.

What sort of billing foulups are you seeing with Rogers? Just curious.

I've had billing "foul ups" as well- however the most recent was in my favour to the tune of $632.

OUCH. Try $900 USD once cause they tried to tell me I didn't return a few phones when I made some exchanges. I fought that tooth and nail and proved I returned them cause I know the guy who has our UPS route and my dad works for the US Postal Service. Told them I was gonna change providers and the bills were HUGELY reduced. Also this year alone, I've had to call and chew them out cause they tried to tell me my mom didn't make payments on time while I was in the hospital. I had one bill reduced from $311 to $95 after I faxed them a copy of the receipt.

But this month's bill is gonna be high because I bought my BlackBerry in the middle of the billing cycle while I still had my Sidekick plan. Next month should be back down to normal.

I can't stand T-Mo's accounting and warehouse departments.

Yeah. That sucks. similar thing with rogers and I except in reverse. I swapped a phone and when i returned the defective phone, they issued a credit for the purchase price of a new 8700. I called them and asked them what was up. They said that their department didn't handle it after being on hold for 2 hours (well, it was more like 10 mins, but it felt like 2 hours). She told me not to worry about it and that their other department would automatically credit it so just wait for the amount to charge back.

Two months later and nothing. I am not going to go knocking down their door to charge it back. I made a call. She told me to wait. My concience is clear. Thanks Rogers.

ALthough i am sure that at one point they'll figure it out and charge it back. We'll see.

West Michigan - Lake Michigan west of Grand Rapids
T Mobile
7100t
If I stayed in Grand Rapids I am sure TMo would be OK, but I travel all over Michigan and TMo sucks - don't even have service at home at all (have to go across the street for roaming coverage) - will change by the end of the year. Would like an 8700 on Verizon; their coverage rules in this area - so I play the waiting game.

Lanark Ontario (50 miles sw of Ottawa.) Our motto here is "Back off Government"
I use Bell Mobility because Rogers doesn't have good coverage here, but Bell still has virtually no EVDO here, even in downtown Ottawa.

My next post will be #500. Do I get a T-shirt or ball-cap; or better still a 6-pack?

good coverage so far, no issues, but it's just been a month

was Nextel 7520 and coverage was good, but out of US traveling made me have to switch.

Tyler, TX (About 100 miles East of Dallas)

Cingular

8700c

Coverage is great. There is only one place that I don't get service and that is on a small bridge in a very low bottom area. Not one person I know has ever had service over that bridge though. Other than that bridge, I don't have any dropped calls and always have atleast 3 bars of EDGE. Luckily I never really have to deal with customer service, but when I have had to, it's been quickly and easily handled. I wouldn't switch for anything right now.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7250/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

San Antonio, TX

Sprint (CDMA) since 1997. Good coverage and free Blackberry Data with my old Vision plan. Happy so far with my 7250. I am, however, thinking of taking an IDEN 7520 for a test drive.
