Yeah it is a pretty impressive piece of software, however I just wish it could sync the album art downloaded by itunes.

I have no problems with it not showing album artwork. Covers show just fine.

What am I doing wrong then? I have artwork downloaded for every song and album. And I synced my whole library before I put the other 5 GBs of music on there. I had about 3GBs when I synced with my 4GB card.

This sounds like the album artwork is not embedded in the actual track. Take a look at your folders (if youre using a windows machine) and under your 'Pictures' folder do you have a sub-folder called "iTunes Album Artwork"? (or something to that effect)?
If it is there check to see if the cover art is present in those sub folders. If the artwork appears there then it usually means that its not embedded in to the actual mp3 file.
I suspect that in order for it to show up on your berry that the artwork has to be embedded into the file, not separated as its own jpg. This is what iTunes has been doing since the release of v7.
You will be able to embed the album artwork with a program that an iTunes forum contributor wrote, provided that you havent upgraded your iTunes to v8 yet. Check out this thread

Best regards,
Moose

Just remember that it won't allow you to sync music you purchased from iTunes music store, as those are DRM-protected. You will only be able to sync music you ripped yourself or purchased from other non-drm music sites. There is some software out there to remove drm protection from itunes music store songs.

Not all music purchased from iTunes is DRM protected... some still is, and almost all of the stuff purchased more than 3-4 months ago was, but the iTunes store does now sell (some) DRM-free content.

But you are correct in that DRM-protected music cannot be synced and played on your blackberry.

You can, but you will need to use another piece of software. I use Jrivers Media Player 12 and can create all the artwork with this software. Once this is done, resync and everything is there!

The new DM 4.7 will sync with iTunes. Grab that when it's released.

Why wait for DM 4.7 when you can already download it's Media Synch component now.

That's true. Forgot about that. I just enable mass storage on my phone and transfer my songs via windows explorer. Pretty simple.

I just downloaded and ran the MediaSync. On my Curve I'm not seeing all my music. When I look at the card all the music is stored in the folder MediaSync (not music).

As a result, when I look in the media player on the curve, for music it shows none, and my playlists aren't complete, either.

Have you tried a battery pull it might need to re-scan the media card.

Actually, I did. I saw where someone else posted with the same issue as me.

It takes forever for the media player to "load" the music. Every time I connect via USB and then disconnect, the media player has to "reload" the music. It takes a ridiculous long time to reload almost 4 gigs of music (on an 8-gig card). I synced the music via MediaSync. I loved that I had iTunes playlist support, but I'm not sure having the iTunes playlist support is going to work out. It's taking 15 - 20 minutes easily for all my music to be recognized and I'm constantly plugging and unplugging from USB.
