Default Media Scanning

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8g mem card (not full) and after every sync my phone scans for all media, which is normal. The thing that is driving me crazy is that its taking around 20 minutes to scan. in that 20 minutes my phone displays the little black box (thinking icon) and lags like crazy...

I reported the problem to TMOB and they are sending me a new phone...

Is this a normal problem or a bad flip? All my previous Blackberry's scanned just fine.
