i installed bbm 5.0 but i didnt do enough research before i did it. i have the older version of the OS and apparently bbm 5.0 only works if you upgrade the OS.

right now my BBM icon has disappeared and all i want to do is to revert my bbm back to the original version.

i dont care about bbm 5.0.

anyone know how to get rid of bbm 5.0 and get my original version of bbm on my phone? i guess the first thing to do is download the software and ive tried that a few times already. but still... no bbm icon on my application screen.

Yes, simply connect to the desktop manager and make sure you have the latest BB OS loaded on the PC/Desktop manager. Go into the application loader (update) and it will offer you a downgrade to the version of the BBM included in that OS version, which will be 4.X. That's how I did it and it works.
