There's a feature in Call Block Professional that allows temporary blocking of all calls which go directly to VM without ringing. You still get a notification in your call log that the call came in, but you'd never know it unless you get a VM or check the blocked calls log in the program.

Yes...I posted a thread similar to this one on the 9800 torch forum I had a BB 8300 before the torch and used the *Do Not Disturb* option all the time...and now its not available on the torch.

For those that never used it and don't understand the use of it...it sends the caller directly to VM but shows up on the device as a missed call...like SGT Shulz used to say I hear NOTHING. the caller thinks your phone is turned off but its not..

I used it all the time!!

I really miss that option on the 9700. @ antb--you're right...alot of people didn't realize that function even existed....myself included! It took me to go through 2 Blackberries to realize what that feature did--and it was much better than the "silent" function. Shame that they took that away.
