Default Problems with BBToday

Please Login to Remove!

After I upgraded to 4.1 with my Nextel 7520, Im having issues with BBToday. It freezes up to where I have to power off and then sometimes I get the error message about BBToday was killed due to message overload or something like that. What do I need to do to have this working again.

Thanks

I am having the same problem with mt 7290 v4.1 Hong Kong. It works fine and shows the alerts/data/weather until I try to interact with the data...go to the missed calls, see the new messages, etc. I am going to try and reinstall it today to see if it fixes it.

Same here...

Nextel on a 7520 running 4.1.0.273

Also, something that I noticed today, is that on the calendar section it lists the fire shift on for today (2/19) but also President's Day (which I confirmed is in my BB calendar for tomorrow) and another event that I have for tomorrow, but not a birthday party I have today.

Confused yet?

After updating to 4.1 I find myself unable to get my 7520 started up at all. It hangs on BBToday and won't respond to anything after that (it will let me "alt-tab" to other programs, but won't actually do anything). I would love to know how to uninstall BBToday without being able to use the BB.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very grateful.

TIA!

Edit > I managed to get in long enough to delete the app so I think I'm OK now.

I found that I can use the wheel on my 7100i to choose "Select" and BBtoday will take me to the correct application ( email, weather, etc.) without crashing, but if I hit the Enter button from BBtoday in the field I want to look at, like email, it locks up and I also have to remove the battery to get going again

BBToday froze on my 7130e, had to remove the battery to re-set. This happened daily for the 4 days I had it. Decided it wasn't worth it. Pocket Day wouldn't load the weather, after a few days, it had to go.

When I tried BBToday on my 8700c it worked great EXCEPT if I hit the enter keyto go to messages, etc, it would freeze. I was able to click the trackwheel and goto select item then it would take me to messages, etc.

Having it freeze when the enter key is pressed caused to many problems.

I tried BBToday on my 7130e - crashed and froze the device when pushing certain buttons.
Removed it and installed Pocketday Professional - and LOVE IT.
It is the perfect app for the BB.

I had BBToday on my 7100t with 4.0 and was fine. I really did like it. had to get used to the thing about not hitting the buttons, never locked up on me but just didn't go anywhere unless I used the scrolly wheel. when I upgraded to 4.1 I had nothing but problems with overflow and exceptions. 4.1 had lots of issues for me so I bailed and went back to 4.0 but am still a little skittish putting BBToday back on.
