Is the DEC or HEX the device serial #? I am guessing the DEC?

For asset tagging purposes can someone tell me what appears (ESN,etc.) on a Verizon Blackberry box? Is any of it barcoded?

For config/asset tagging purposes, can someone tell me if I should be capturing the ESN DEC or HEX?

For asset tagging I capture the ESN DEC (in our asset tracking software). The ESN HEX gets captured as the device serial number on the BES.
