If you are on an Exchange Server then I assume you are synching wirelessly using the BES. I do not think PocketMac will help because my understanding is that it is used to synch over USB. I suppose it is possible to do both (synch wirelessly and over USB), but it seems to me it could create problems. I know that there used to be an issue that synching using Desktop Manager broke wireless synch (not sure if that is still the case).
Another option is to install Parallels or VMWare Fusion and run Outlook on the Mac. Presumably , your ISP which hosts your Exchange Server gives you Outlook, so the only cost is Parallels or VM Ware. Both have free trials. I use Parallels because I find it integrates slightly better with the Mac OS, but they are similar. Of course, even though I have done exactly what I just suggested, I find myself using Entourage almost exclusively because it is native to the Mac and does not require me to start Parallels, then Outlook. I tend to run Outlook only when I want to archive emails into my PST folder because Entourage (as I am sure you are aware) cannot use PSTs.
