Just got the 7290 and have had my iMac six months. I will definitely be here.

does anyone know of a software solution that will allow me to transfer files, pix, ringtones etc from my mac to my 7130c? The bluetooth feature on the mac does not like the crackberry. the berry will not let me browse the device like i could with my other phones.

Lots of great resources here. I've found a couple of solutions in this forum. The more people who post here, the more likely it is that RIM will take notice and give us some serious consideration.

Keep all mac discussions in this forum please! (thats why its here)

I've just purchased a 7130v and downloaded Pocketmac 4.0. Has anyone had any luck syncing with Now Contact and Up-toDate? I'm so angry because I feel like I've wasted my money and Pocketmac and RIM keep passingthe buck. Have you had any joy? I've tried contacting both Pocketmac and Blackberry RIM and they are both really unhelpful.

Please help!

I contacted NUTD yesterday about that situation and there is nothing yet that will let you sync.

Default Can't open Microsoft Word files on Pearl

I am a new Pearl user, and so far so great! Except for the fact that I can not open Microsoft Word attachments I send myself from either of my macs. I can open anything anyone else sends me, but not these document files. I have tried various ways of labling, none seem to work. RIM seems to think the mac is including something in the file that strips the attachment. I have tried numerous solutions, all to no avail. Any helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I'm a new 8703e Verizon user. I have a PowerMac G4 at home. Can I download and use desktop software to the Mac, and use it to sync my BB apps? (For instance: can I use password keeper so that I can keep them sync'd on both the desctop mac, and on the BB?)

Hi!

I'm sorry we've been silent about this in the past in the public. RIM and we have been testing an update internally for some time to better support the recent changes to Now programs, and we're readying a release to happen soon. I wish I could be less circumspect on the release date, but it's not in our control. I will come back and let everyone know the moment RIM posts the release in their downloads area.

I don't have the solution ready to hand out to you yet, but I did want to let you know that behind the scenes everyone, RIM, Now and PocketMac, have all been working together on this as quickly as we all can.

Thanks!

Default 8800 & Mac Sync

I'm using a Mac computer and also PocketMac for Blackberry. The problem is that for example I change a phone number from one of my contacts in the computer or the device and after I sync them it doesn't make the change on the other device/computer. If I delete the contact it sync it ok, but not if I update the contact.
Is there any other soft to sync my 8800 with Entourage than PocketMac?
Thank you!

Pocketmacanne,
I've searched all over the forum to try to find a way to update my 8100 to 4.2.1 from my Powerbook G4. Everything I read is old, so I'm wondering if the new version of pocketmac, version 4, will allow me to update my BB using "Install Software to Device"?

g4 powerbook with pocketmac v4. only syncs about every 6 tries and ends in "failed to sync" even though my contacts and notes are updated. i can't install software or backup files. is there any other software out there that is more reliable than pocketmac?
