Default SMS & emails capacity?

Please Login to Remove!

I had a question about the capacity of my BB Tour's SMS MMS and email capacity. I noticed that i still have all my messages (received and sent) ever since i got my BB. That's a lot of messages.. Do they delete automatically after certain time? Does it eat up a lot of memory? Is it recommended to delete them? Thank you

I would delete the emails you don't need (With IMAP accounts you have option to delete on handheld only) --- Blackberries are actually pretty smart when it comes to memory, remember this. All of your applications, emails, texts are stored in your 256 Megs of Ram that you have. Music, Photos, Videos are stored on your SD Card. When you begin to run out of memory, your blackberry will automatically start deleting your emails / text messages.

I don't know if there is a real capacity number or not. However, when memory starts running low, call logs and messages are deleted automatically.

My advice is to delete those that you no longer need.
