Default Help! My 7290 is not charging..

Please Login to Remove!

Ok I dont know what went wrong but last night I plugged my bb 7290 into the charger as i always do and i wake up and my batter is in the red still...and then i tryed replugging in the charger and the charging lightning bolt ( so to speak ) comes up for like 3 seconds then disappears.. Any Ideas?

All help is appreciated. Thank You!

Pull the battery out and put it back in. See what it shows then.

I just got off the phone with cingular (1866 636 5801).. and they are sending me a new one..weird but still i wonder why it wont stay charging? any ideas?

Well could be alot of things. Sometime at can be an actual hardware problem with the battery itself, or the pin connectors on the device. Or it could also be software issues within the blackberry, whereas the application loader would be the way to resolve the issue.

I had a similar problem. I took the unit and the charger into the cingular store. It turned out the charger had failed. Unfortunately, Cingular doesn't cover the charger under their warranty so I had to buy a new one. Everything works just fine now.
