Lost all my speed dial list, and worst of all, it won't let me re-assign the "9" button (C) to "911", but instead insists on putting a name beginning with "C" in there.
Has anyone solved this?

The seems to be an update to the 1179 release that fixes some bugs. not much information but maybe it addresses your issues.
