Default Device Not Showing On My Computer?

Please Login to Remove!

OK, I know I'm going to get grief on this, cause it's been posted before. I can't find the thread! OK, I took pics with my BB that I now want to transfer to my PC. I plug the USB cable in, I get an audible connect signal, and then nothing? When I check My Computer the BB does not show. When I do >CONTROL PANEL>ADMINISTRATIVE DEVICE I see blackberry and blackberry1. How do i make the BB show on My Computer to be able to get the pics? Help please.

Are you using the media manager and it does not list anything? Does DM see the blackberry and show the serial number. Did it ask for your password?

Yes, media manager, DM does see the BB and it does not ask for my password.

Is this a work PC? The BB probably wants to take the drive that your network is currently using. Connect the BB and restart the PC WITHOUT logging into the network. Let the BB take the drive letter it wants, then REMAP it to a different letter that won't conflict with a network letter. Then restart the PC and connect to the network. The BB should pull it's new mapped letter, and the network will have it's letter and you'll see the device in the drive list.
