Default Battery Life

Please Login to Remove!

My battery on my Tour was acceptable the first two weeks that I had it. I don't think it was as good as my Curve, but I could usually go most of the day without charging. Now it can be fully charged and I can literally watch the battery drain within about 3 hours with no usage. I did not change any settings or add any programs.

I am taking it to Verizon today in hopes that they will replace the phone and/or the battery. I'm flexible either way actually...the phone has had other issues since the day I got it. It drags when trying to switch between applications. It also occasionally locks up for no reason and I have to remove the battery; then it takes a good 20 minutes to reboot. Guess that's what I get for trying to be the first person on the block to have one!

Really, REALLY disappointed w/ the battery on the Tour. I've had it for a few days & have had to charge it a few times now. It charged all nite, came off the charger @ 11am and was dead by 3:30pm! 3 short phone calls, a few emails & texts & a few blackberry messenger messages - poof dead. This is bad. I have a 3 year old 8830 w/ the original battery that slays this. PLUS, it has that "mini - usb" connector, so i have to buy a new secondary charger. Ughhh.
Kinda OT (but not really) - w/ such a weak battery life, why'd they place the usb connector beside the keyboard? Kinda silly & difficult to type...
