Default Working with Comcast.net

Please Login to Remove!

From US Cellular, I just bought a Blackbery 7250 (the only model they sell) and my email is on comcast.net (I have no MS Exchange Server, lotus Domino etc.)

My problem is opening email attachments. Any special settings or procedures?

Are you looking at it from the browswer or using the BIS to POP/forward from Comcast?

Trying to view emails from the Blackberry email (not browser). I went onto blackberry site and set up an account so that it pulls from Comcast. I've since read that I can alternatively go to the comcast site and make settings so that Comcast forwards a copy of all emails directly to the Blackberry.

The problem I've had is that only small file attachments are getting to my Blackberry. Otherwise, I get "Conversion Failed" message on my Blackberry when trying to open larger email attachments.

Are you using redirector? I found that using redirector is more trouble than its worth and I went ahead and deleted the desktop manager and reinstalled without redirector.

I think that comcast has a limit to emails that can be sent or forwarded.
