Iv broke the underneath screen on my blackberry and it needs fixing.
i don't have insurance and i'm on vodafone, but was wondering whether the payment for it would come out of my contract or if i have to pay straight up when i take it in to be fixed??

You will have to pay whomever fixes it for you.

I'm on vodafone UK. If you take it to your nearest store, they will arrange to repair it.
Ask them to charge it to your account, but before you do see if there's a repair store near you who may be cheaper.

Vodafone will take about a week to repair, and return it. I recommend you insure your BB, I've blitzed 2 BB's, each time VF replaced them with New ones I paid £25GBP excess charged to my Bill well worth it.

Self-repair is not so tough with BlackBerrys. Parts are available from 3G, Sony, Panasonic, LG, SonyEricsson, Nokia, Tools, BlackBerry, BenQ-Siemens - Cellular out of Hong Kong. Lots of forum members have used them for all kinds of parts.
