Ok I purchased a 8900 Curve last week. I have the Blackberry Data Plan. Is there an Enable/Disable Push on the email? I don't want it pushed all the time. Also, I know its just personal prefrence but when I recieve a text message or email, the screen doesn't light up, just the red indicator light. There is nothing I can do to make the screen light up is there? Thanks for your help...

Not that I am aware of. Only way I know of is to turn off data, but then all messages on the server will be pushed as soon as you turn it back on.

Please use the SEARCH function and see if you can find anything. I know it has been discussed.
