Default Data plans?

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering if I am paying more than I need to be on my AY&T data plan. I have gone the unlimited route at $50.00 a month. I chose to do this as I get anywhere form 40 to 80 emails (not including spam) a day. The question I ask is what are the typical data plans others have and how many emails do you recieve as well?

Between the mailstreet.com acct w/BES services and AT&T I pay almost $100.00 a month for email, just want to make sure there is not a cheaper way!

Thanks

If you get a voice plan with Nextel, their data plan is $44.99/month (unlmtd)

Nextel in my market sucks real bad coverage wise, anyway I already have the BB on AT&T so I am kinda stuck with my provider.
Thanks for the reponse though.

I also have ATT and want a BB so bad but I'm having a real hard time justifying paying a 100 bones a month for email. I've been asking this guestion for a month now, so I hope someone can help out a couple of ATT brothers out. :D

On a side note how do you like your att BB? I'm trying hard to wait for the 7290 model but with the Holidays around the corner it getting harder. Now that Cingular is back up and running with the 7290 I hope ATT will be next. You would think since Cingular and ATT will soon be one. What model do you own?

Cmeyer,
Here are my thoughts. If you just got the blackberry wait and see how many MB's you use. I was on the unlimited here with Bell for the longest time, then I figured out you have to get more than 3 MB's a month to make it worth the unlimited. Now if you are getting close to that a month than it maybe worth it, but I get about the same about as you a day and I am around 1.5 MB's a month. This also has a lot to do with what the price of the additional MB is per.

I have the 7280, bought it a few months before the 7290 came out. I love it for the calender and email, just really used to the palm Task list though and being able to have catergories for all of my different reps I manage. I do not use mine as a phone also, just email. We have a grandfather plan with Alltel that gives us unlimited cell for $45.00 per month - AT&T can not even come close to that!

For me it just came down to being tired of spending an hour or so every day reading and replying to emails when I returned to the office - decided it was worth the $$$$
