Default Deleting all calendar entries from BB

Please Login to Remove!

I've had some trouble syncing my mac using PM and my BB, so I've decided to delete all of my calendar entries from BB, but I can't figure out how to do it. The address book syncs fine (no duplicate entries, all the number appear, etc) although my assigned contact pictures desappear every time I do the sync.

Is there any way I can just wipe out all of the calendar entries on my BB?

I am also thinking about uninstalling PM and have found these instructions:Mark/Space, Inc - How to Remove PocketMac

Any other steps I would have to take?

Would I have to wipe out my BB?

Thanks.

**EDIT** Good catch Sith...a little too quick reading the question... I echo what Sith said in the post below!

Good Luck!

not sure if that will all translate to pocket mac or not. those instructions are PC based but the premise is the same. I am going to move this to the Mac user forum, you might get better responses there. also, welcome

You can easily clear out your calendar from your BB by using your Desktop Manager... Backup and Restore -> ADVANCED -> select CALENDAR from Device Databases list -> click CLEAR -> click OK to confirm - -> CLOSE ...
Calendar cleared . . . no need to wipe out BB.

They are using PM not Desktop Manager.

there isnt a Desktop Manager for the Mac. To the OP, do you have access to a PC? if you do these instructions will make it easy to clear the calendar that way, otherwise we are gonna have to wait for a Mac user to come along

Thanks for the replies.

Now that I am here (mac forum), my question is simple. How can I delete all of the calendar entries from my BB?

Is there any way I can do that on my phone?
Do I have to wipe out everything on my BB to get this done?

Thanks for quick responses.

Sith_Apprentice,

No PC. I understand that people use desktop manager to add/remove apps and in my case delete entries.

Thanks.

Problem's solved. After wiping my bb, I was able to get my contacts back by syncing the address book using PocketMac and for the Calendars I just used Google Sync, which forked flawlessly.

Thanks.

You might also try to contact PocketMac about a beta they are working on. It worked for me, YMMV.

There is a very simple answer to this question.

When you purchase PM, they include three scripts to wipe your BB and reset the sync log.

To get there go to Library > Application Support > PocketMacSyncManager > Additional Tools.

There you will find three applications, one to re-build Entourage, another, Data Purge, which will wipe any or all of your data off your BB. And SyncClean, which will reset your Syncing log.

If you wipe any data off your BB, make sure you reset the sync log on both the BB and the mac using SyncClean. Otherwise you may get duplication.

When you go to sync open up PM and click on the BB. Set your data you wiped, ie. Contacts or Calender, to sync one way, Mac to BB. This will also help with duplication.

I tried Data Purge and it didn't work for me at all! I still had all my calendar entries. Now what?

Prior to BB Forum's servers crashing you tried to wipe the BB with the wipe handheld feature, and that did not work.
My next piece of advice is to bring it back to Verizon and have their techs look at it
