Default My Calendar on device will not sync with Outlook on PC

Please Login to Remove!

Here's a quick rundown of the issue I'm experiencing in the subject line.

I originally set up recurring items on my Outlook (things like bills due dates, etc). I was using my Curve 8900 and everything synced to the phone. Well, I'm using my Bold 2 now that I have it back and tried to re-sync things. When I put my Curve2 in my PC, for some reason my recurring items got deleted from Outlook.

Luckily I have the recurring items on my Bold 2, simple fix right. When I plugged my Bold 2 into the PC and began the sync, it did not want to populate my Outlook with my deleted information. I changed the settings on my sync options to only allow One Way Sync as opposed to Two Way Sync and I made sure I selected future items only, however no dice. It won't sync my recurring items from my device to my Outlook. Help?

Are you on a BES server?

I have a question...could it be that when I go to a selected entry and Open the Occurence

Where it says "Send Using" it had 'Device Default' where as before it use to say [email address]

It's grayed out and won't let me change it to my comcast.net account. I did make sure that future updates say 'send using [email address]'

If so...how do you suggest on updating the entries. Also the link you sent me honestly is confusing me on exactly what I'm supposed to do

So the test was successful

I added a new recurring calendar on the Bold2 and it said 'send using [email address]' and when I hit sync, it did the sync for all future test dates.

So the main issue I suppose is on the items that are on the device that are truly important are grayed out where it says 'send using'

How can I change that to say [email address]??

Wirelessly posted

I don't have an answer for what happened. I expect your only solution is to create new appointmens in place of the old entries that are affected, then delete the old, then re-sync.

Yeah, that seems to be the only recourse. Sucks
