Default Why Mobihand isn't a good partner for you.

Please Login to Remove!

I am opening this post to share my bad experience with Mobihand since the BB App Store opened.

I just want to earn about 5€ from my software, to do it I need to sell it at 7.99$ on BB App Store...
BB App Store is an excellent partner, is quite a friend that ask you only 20% of your income.

Mobihand instead move a one way business, they eats 40% often in a non professional
way and they charge your customers for tax.

Ok... Knowing this I put my software on Mobihand at 9.99$ to earn about 4€ from it...
Today they contacted me to inform that this is not correct and I need to use the same price I used
on other distributors...

I answered them that I use a bigger price on their site because they eats more than two times than BB App Store
and they sell 10 times less...

To talk less, I closed my account on Mobihand and I'm increasingly happy to have a friend like RIM,
that help me in my business without take advantage on my work.

I hope that this can answer the most asked questions here: "I'm a Mobihand partner, BB App World worth the initial money"?

Handango is even worse than Mobihand. They take 50% of your revenue (on paper), but in the end they actually get about 62% (on average) because of "dealer commissions", and they charge you to advertise your software on their site.

Mobihand and Handango will be out of the Blackberry business in short order, I suspect.

I agree with you and I think that no one mourns for the loss...
