Hi,

I use Outlook, hooked up to exchange. I have a BIS blackberry account. I sync my work Outlook with Google Sync from my desktop to Google and from Google, to my Blackberry using the Google Sync application.

Today, my blackberry without me prompting sent out several meeting cancellations and some empty emails with tons of garbage in it.

This has also happened to a coworker.. A little embarrassing to say the least.

The only thing I can gather is that these are meetings I deleted in Google Calendar and Google Sync took them as updates and decided to email everyone invited to the meeting.. I wasn't even the originator of any of those meetings.

Any ideas what's going on ? How can I get a previous version of Google Sync for the BB as this one clearly has a very disturbing bug in it.

Ok, to answer my own question. I googled for the older version and found it..

But I also figured, and please someone confirm, that if I change the security application settings for Google Sync and set Email Commnication to "Deny" it should block Google Sync from sending out updates to invitees.. Correct ?
