Default Add O2 email into outlook

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to add my o2email.co.uk address into outlook 2003. I have the above email account for my blackberry and just want to be able to view emails on my laptop as i have my work emails forwarded to that address. Has anyone successfully set up an o2email.co.uk with Outlook.

When i put all the settings in i get 3 out of the 5 tests pass. log onto incoming mail server fails and test email fails.

I have set the pop3 and smtp settings to mail.o2email.co.uk and put my username as the full email address. I also have under more settings->outgoing server the my server requires authentication box ticked.

any help with this would be appreciated as it is driving me up the walls!

If you're going to be accessing the same account on both your BB and your laptop you're going to want to use IMAP instead of POP3 otherwise if you check the mail on your laptop first it'll remove the messages from the server and you won't get them on your BB.

That's fine by me. I am just trying to get it to log on and check messages. Can tweak later. At the moment I cannot do anything.

You can't use outlook to access a @blackberry address.
I presume the o2email is an address created from the O2 BIS?

Yeh it is. So there is no way to do this. Just thought it would be the same as setting up other internet email addresses on outlook.
