Hi,

I am newbie and i have searched threads with some "keywords" however it didn't resolve my problem.

I got a BB booted and stuck in hourglass over 5 hours, and wanted to reload new fresh OS but am wondering to know how to back up data before perform reloading new OS as desktop manager can't recognize the device.

Any comments wellcome....

Is there an error code on the screen, like 507 or 523 or something else?

What were you doing that caused the hourglass to appear?

Have you tried a battery pull?

Nope no error code on the screen

The last thing i did was inserting photo to handheld

Yes I have ...

However, somehow after pulling battery, sim card and memory card i can connect BB to DM and performed back up and then wipe by JL_commander and reload the OS.

And done.... :D thanks.
